The GU Patrol centre roof consoles are mounted without drilling any holes in the vehicle. In the ST model, the front mounting bracket on the console utilises two of the original mounting points for the genuine plastic roof assembly. In the DX model, the front mounting bracket sits underneath the rear vision mirror utilising the two screws that hold the mirror in place. The back of the console is held in place by utilising the interior light screw holes. The interior light is re-mounted into a pre-cut hole in the base of the console. In the ST model, the genuine spectacle holder is also re-mounted into a pre-cut hole in the console.
