How it Works
A robust 12 volt
marine pressure pump is mounted in the vehicle and draws water
from any source -- a bucket, tank, creek, lake etc.
The water passes through a compact heat exchange unit installed
in your vehicle’s heater system.
NB: The
Aussie shower does not mix the radiator water or coolant. Water for the shower
comes from outside the vehicle. This clever device uses your vehicle’s heat, not
its water supply.
It’s Easy To
Use...
Start your vehicle’s engine. When it reaches normal operating
temperature (about two to five minutes), the shower system will produce a good
strong flow of hot water, limited only by the supply.
At this point, connect the suction hose to the filter, then
screw on the the shower hose to the heat exchanger. Turn on the car heater
control and then switch on the pump.
The result (which takes about 2 minutes to set up) is
incredible....as much hot water as the supply will give!
Temperature is controlled by any or all of three methods:
adjusting tap on shower rose, increasing or decreasing engine revs, or altering
the heater control on dash.
It’s Easy To Fit...
80% of units
sold have been fitted by the owner (the average handyman takes about two hours
to set up the unit). Easy fitting instructions are supplied to mount the heat
exchanger permanently to your vehicle’s heater feed line. The pump is also
permanently mounted in the vehicle using the fittings supplied.
The pump will draw water from 12
metres horizontally and has a two year warranty. |
